Do I have to use Texas Windstorm Insurance for may Windstorm coverage?
No, At Cole Insurance TWFG we have several carriers that included Windstorm coverage in their Homeowners policy.

Does my homeowners insurance cover flooding?
No, flooding or rising water is not covered by your Homeowners policy.  You must purchase a separate FLOOD policy.

Can I change my insurance carrier eventhough my insurance is paid in my home note?
Yes, you can change your insurance carrier and the agency handling your insurance. To make the changes you must initiate the changes at least 60 days before your current policy expires.

What is my Homeowners policy deductible?
Your deductible is based on a percentage of your homes value. Example if your home is valued at $100,000 and you have a 2% deductible, your deductible will be $2000

Simple put that means if you have a $10,000 loss your insurance will pay you $8,000 ( $10,000- $2,000 deductible).

When should I carry only liabilty coverage on my automobile?
Typically liability only coverage should be carried on older cars when the cost of insurance exceeds the blue book value of the car.
